Airlift disposal
Apparently there was a frozen rat outside the library this afternoon. The difficulty was that it had died in behind a thick clump of bushes (but in front of a window), so one of the suggestions was to airlift it out. I never did find out how they actually removed it.
Fall term

I think my biggest accomplishment of fall term was in improving my handwriting. My French professor draws his lowercase f's with the stems sticking down below the baseline, which I thought was very elegant, so I spent the last eight weeks training myself to do the same. I am quite pleased with the result. Even if I did fail my discrete math final, at least my handwriting was pretty.
CSS classes

I hadn't realized that it was possible for Finnish Prof to become any more awesome, but then I noticed that he names his CSS classes in Finnish:
- <ul class="kiekko"> for lists bulleted by discs (kiekko meaning "disc")
- <ul class="ympyra"> for lists bulleted by circles (ympyra meaning "circle")
- <ul class="merkiton"> for unbulleted lists (merkki meaning "mark", and -ton indicating lack thereof)
- <span class="artikkeli"> for articles
- <span class="teksti"> for text (this one's my favourite)
Admittedly, his webpage doesn't quite validate, but in the face of those class names, all is forgiven.
