Cats
I have four cats. All are presumably mixed breeds, although Tiddles is reminiscent of a miniature Norwegian Forest Cat or Maine Coon, and Tachyon of an anorexic Egyptian Mau whose spots have run together in places. Autumn was adopted as a stray; the others were from the shelter.
Zodiac, Tiddles, and Tachyon recently achieved international fame by being published in the I Can Has Cheezburger? book (with the caption "Kill, Maim, Stun").
Autumn
Also known as "Auts" and "Fuzzball (chan)".
Autumn is a black tortie. Despite her rickety appearance, she is a vicious monster and will savage anything and everything that crosses her path (with the sole exception of my brother, who she adores). When she was allowed outdoors, she produced a little corpse nearly every morning. Autumn's theme song is "Pet the Destroyer", by Lordi.
Zodiac
Also known as "Zode", "The Sweetest Thing", and "The Swedish Fish".
Zodiac is solid black, but shows rufusing in the right light. He is a great lover of all things edible and all things stringlike. It is probable that, if he were offered a tin of catfood and a string simultaneously, he would undergo mitosis in an attempt to obtain both.
Muon
Also known as "Tiddles", "Mew", "Miu", "Muesli", and a high-pitched squeal similar to "Eeeeiiiuuu".
Muon (pronounced "mew-on", as in the Greek letter μ) is a chocolate tortie mackerel tabby and white bicolour. She is excessively fluffy and very proud of the fact. She is also spunky and independent and does not like to be squished. She enjoys climbing furniture, strutting about arrogantly, showing off her white paws, and squeezing herself into tiny boxes.
Tachyon
Also known as "Tik", "Tach", "Tiki (chan)", "Mr. Stick", "Stickosaurus", and "Stickerella".
Tachyon is a black silver mackerel tabby. He is completely insane, but is forgiven because he is cute. His hobbies include sprinting over furniture, chasing his tail, bouncing off walls, licking plastic bags, communing with the ceiling light, and attacking his many hallucinations.
