Inbreeding Coefficient Calculator

A cat's inbreeding coefficient (IC) is the probability that it received two identical copies of the same allele, one from each parent. Therefore, the IC depends only on ancestors common to both parents' pedigrees; the ICs of the parents themselves are irrelevant and are not "inherited" in any way. However, the calculator will display a notice when a cat's IC is 0% but its pedigree contains repeated ancestors.

Instructions: Copy and paste the entire pedigree page (Ctrl+A) of one or two cats into the form below (detailed instructions). If you enter two pedigrees, their offspring's IC will also be calculated.
