- Open your cat's pedigree in another browser tab (or window). You should now have the calculator, these instructions, and the pedigree page open.
- Select your cat's entire pedigree page (press Ctrl + A). Do not select just the pedigree table. Include the text of the menu, the actual pedigree, the page credits, etc. It doesn't matter if you select more than you need, but if you select less, it might not work.
- Copy your selection (Ctrl + C).
- Go back to the inbreeding calculator. Click in the first box, then paste your selection (Ctrl + V).
- If you wish to find the coefficient of a match between two cats, open the second cat's pedigree and repeat steps 2-4, using the empty second box instead of the first.
- Click the "Submit" button.
