Scalable Vector Graphics

While raster graphics are essentially a meaningless array of pixels, scalable vector graphics are special text files that describe the underlying shapes behind those pixels. Thus, vector graphics are made of awesome.

About

I have been toying with SVG since late 2006. I use Inkscape because:

  • It runs on Linux.
  • It's free and open source.
  • I'm fond of it.

Graphics are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike licence. Please credit Rosie Leung, with a link back to http://blessedpancake.com/.

The original SVG files are typically available upon request. I am no longer putting them up for download; as a poor college student, paying a few cents extra for webhosting was more than I could comfortably afford. :)
